Let's meet Ombeline, Kundalini Yoga Teacher

Ombeline, a journalist for 10 years, decided to take a breather from her fast-track life by embarking on, of all things, a ‘fast.’ The experience helped her gain clarity and marked an important turning point in her life. Upon returning, she decided to re-center her life by devoting more time to wellbeing, sport, and personal development. To help others looking for tips and similar guidance, she launched a blog www.ombelinetips.com to share her journey.

Her new sense of spirituality and enlightenment dovetailed with her practice of Kundalini Yoga, which calmed anxieties, soothed emotions, and brought forth more trust in the universe. For Ombeline, the benefits of Kundalini resided in its ability to elevate one’s inner fortitude, to confront and overcome deep-rooted fears, and live more in the present moment.

Ombeline continues to write for the press while also working as a PR consultant to brands and agencies that specialize in lifestyle, sport and wellbeing. She also makes time to organize an annual Kundalini Yoga retreat in Taghazout, Morocco. For more info click here.

*Due to the COVID situation, her retreat will be postponed, and we will keep you informed and share with you further details as soon as we can.

In the meantime, join us this Sunday, 10/05 at 11h00 on our instagram for a Live - Kundalini Yoga class and meditation with Ombeline.

So why did Ombeline choose LEBON?
”I eat organic food. I use natural products on my body and face, and I do sport every day. It therefore was logical to integrate a natural toothpaste into my daily care routine. Regular use of fluoride can have negative effects on the body over the long term. And one of the main goals of Kundalini Yoga is to regulate the nervous system to reduce stress and anxiety.”

What exactly is Kundalini Yoga?
Kundalini Yoga is considered the “authentic yoga.” It combines all the other forms of yoga into a fluid practice. It alleviates stress and anxiety by balancing the glandular and nervous systems. Kundalini is above all else a reconnect with oneself, an elevation of self-awareness that aims to ‘know me’ better. It is a tethering with the greater universe that is more intuitive than intellectual, serving to harmonize and manage the various states of physical, mental, emotional, etc.

Kundalini Yoga is comprised of dynamic and static body practices (asanas), various breathing exercises (pranayama), visualizations, and the use of closures (bandha and moudra) to concentrate breaths and energies. It includes relaxation as well as a very wide range of meditations, chants and repetitions of sacred sounds (mantras).

Today, Ombeline’s mantra is one of positive enlightenment:

 Breathe

The past no longer exists

The future isn’t yet

Only the present is important

Do not make any assumptions

Be gentle and kind to yourself

Spread your light
